The New Time of Alliance is an Indigenous-led process creating new conditions for collaboration between ancestral knowledge systems and the systems now reshaping the planet: technology, capital, governance, science, law, culture, and institutions.
Its first major gathering will take place in Girona, Spain, September 9-13, 2026. The gathering is not an end in itself. It is the first visible node in a longer alliance architecture designed to continue through 2027, 2028, and toward 2030.
The work begins from a simple recognition: the world cannot solve ecological, social, and technological crises from the same fractured logic that created them. Indigenous Peoples have protected living systems, territories, languages, healing traditions, and laws of origin across generations. Their knowledge is not a resource to extract. It is a living relationship to be respected, protected, and brought into alliance under Indigenous authority.

Why now
The operating system of human society is being rewritten in real time. Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, climate disruption, financial systems, and political instability are changing the conditions of life on Earth.
At the same time, many of the world’s deepest living knowledge systems remain under threat from territorial destruction, cultural erasure, criminalization, and extractive economies.
The New Time of Alliance asks a different question:
What would it take for high knowledge holders of ancestral worlds and high knowledge holders of the technological, institutional, and capital worlds to work together toward balance?
The September gathering is a rare doorway for that question to become practical: people in the same place, with the right protocols, the right relationships, and the right support.
Chief Biraci Nixiwaka Brasil and Benki Piyãko, are building a historic alliance to protect the world’s most vital living knowledge systems. This unique process has already united representatives from 34 Indigenous Nations from the Americas and is transforming their stance from resistance to offering. We are now forging deep partnerships to safeguard, transmit, and apply this irreplaceable wisdom.
