Create the Future.

If other institutes which focus on the future tell us anything, it’s that envisioning the future is a collaborative, multidisciplinary process.

The reason for this is that our lives are infused with so many levels of reality: emotional, biological, technical, sociological, political, economic, geographic, ecological, psychological, etc.

Naturally, the Earth Codes Observatory is planning a program whereby visiting Fellows — envisioned to be at least one year — will guide team leaders who are managing developers, artists and others to create “experiences” for the visitors and members of the Earth Codes Observatory.

If you are interested in being a Fellow, please visit our Fellows page to learn more.

If you are interested in being an artist in residence or programmer in residence, please visit our In Residence page to learn more.

If you are interested in being an understudy in augmented reality programming or virtual reality programming, please contact us here.

At the Earth Codes Observatory, at the content creation level, collaboration happens mostly on the 6th floor where the team is surrounded by real and a soon-to-be virtual window into the future painted by one of the artist Fellows.

It was made from the frame of the old book stacks on that floor, allowing co-creators to easily move their desk spaces to be close or far from one another, depending on the creative cycle of their projects.
